BankAmerica Names Vice Chairman: BankAmerica Corp. and its Bank of America subsidiary said they have named Michael J. Murray a vice chairman of both the parent company and the bank. San Francisco-based BankAmerica said Murray heads Bank of America’s U.S. Corporate and International Groups and is responsible for its business with large corporate, international and government clients around the world. BankAmerica also announced that it had named Jeremy G. Fair to succeed Murray as a group executive vice president and head of its U.S. Corporate Group. Fair, 48, will be based in Chicago and will head wholesale banking activities nationwide.
