New York Giant running back Rodney Hampton won’t require surgery to repair a broken bone in his right hand suffered during the team’s 20-6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, the team doctor said. Hampton, whose hand has been placed in a splint, isn’t expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
