COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Partida Gets Titans Past Northridge

Alfred Partida of Cal State Fullerton scored on a penalty kick to lift Cal State Fullerton to a 3-2 victory over Cal State Northridge in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s soccer match Sunday at Titan Stadium.
Fullerton (8-4, 2-1) took a 2-0 lead on goals by Joey DiGiamarino and Matt Bradbury. Northridge came back on goals by Keith West and Matt Davis to tie the score, 2-2, at the half.
Mike Forensich had two saves for Fullerton, which outshot Northridge, 14-9.
The Titans play at Nevada Las Vegas on Friday at 7 p.m.
In another Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match:
Nevada Las Vegas 1, UC Irvine 1--Bret Cowan scored with about five minutes left to give host UC Irvine a tie. Matthew Goldman had eight saves for the Anteaters.
