Brea Cinema Employee Robbed at Gunpoint

BREA — A robber held an Edward’s Cinema employee at gunpoint Thursday night and escaped with an estimated $2,200, police said.
The man entered the newly remodeled theater just before 11 p.m. while it was still open, pointed a handgun at the worker and demanded cash, said Brea police.
The employee removed about $2,200 in cash from the register and the man grabbed it and fled, police said.
