Man Crossing Street Is Hit, Killed

WESTMINSTER — A Westminster man was killed Saturday night when he was hit by an alleged drunk driver while attempting to walk across Edwards Street, police said.
Jesus G. Rosales was crossing Edwards Street near Humboldt Avenue at 7:15 p.m. when he was struck by a 1994 Chevy truck driven by Alan D. Ezelle, 30, of Huntington Beach, said Officer Al Brackett of the Westminster Police Department.
Rosales was taken to Huntington Beach Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, Brackett said.
Ezelle, who was traveling south on Edwards Street, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and will be charged with felony vehicular manslaughter, Brackett said.
