Goldberg to Head Mercury Records, Sources Say: Former Warner Music executive Danny Goldberg is reportedly about to resurface next month at PolyGram as president of New York-based Mercury Records, home to such acts as Bon Jovi, Vanessa Williams and Joan Osborne. Sources said Goldberg will replace current President Ed Eckstein, who is expected to be given his own PolyGram-affiliated firm.
