Lazar and 4 Others Honored by ADL

Ventura County’s Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith honored five people, including Thousand Oaks Councilwoman Judy Lazar, at a fund-raiser Tuesday night.
Lazar was presented with the group’s Distinguished Public Service Award at the dessert reception in the Camarillo Community Center. Bradley W. Hertz, chairman of the Anti-Defamation League’s San Fernando Valley executive committee, addressed the gathering.
Four individuals received the group’s Distinguished Community Service Award. Saul Hunau of Camarillo was honored for his work with the West Valley School for Exceptional Children and with Gateway Mental Hospital in Los Angeles. Yale S. Levine, also of Camarillo, earned the award by serving on the board of Elder Homes Ventura County and for his activities with the Anti-Defamation League’s Pacific Southwest Region.
Milton and Shirley Rosenberg of Westlake were also honored for good works. Milton Rosenberg is active in the Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. His wife also works with Gateway Mental Hospital and participates in activities with Kaiser Medical Facilities.
