Lakers Go Cold Against Cavaliers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — After leading for most of the game, the Lakers went cold and then lost Wednesday night when rookie Bob Sura’s driving bank shot at the buzzer lifted the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 99-97 exhibition victory.
Sura, a first-round pick from Florida State, hit the game winner on a drive down the the lane.
Laker guard Nick Van Exel scored 25 of his 27 points in the first half.
The Lakers made only six of 21 shots in the last 12 minutes while Cleveland made 10 of 18.
