The World Kulintang Institute--an organization dedicated to the preservation, education and presentation of Kulintang music--will perform at 3 and 8 p.m. Friday at the UC Santa Barbara MultiCultural Center Theater. What is kulintang music, you ask? It’s an ancient form of Southern Philippine gong and drum music. Free admission. Information: 893-8411.
* The UC Santa Barbara Gospel Choir will perform its 10th anniversary concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Barbara, 21 E. Constance Ave. The popular choir, directed by James Fisher, will be joined by more than 100 alumni for the celebration. Tickets: $12, $8 students. Information: 687-0754.
* The Goleta Valley Chamber Orchestra performs a “Mostly Mozart” concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Goleta Valley Community Center, 5679 Hollister Ave., Goleta. The program includes Mozart’s “Impresario Overture,” plus works by Debussy and Ravel. Tickets: $20, $15 senior citizens, $10 children. Information: 962-6609.
