BREA : Business Seminar to Address Internet Use

The Brea Council for Excellence, a group of business and civic leaders, will play host to a half-day conference Nov. 14 on using the Internet for commerce.
The seminar, “Understanding the Internet and Computer Networking,” will cover the history of cyberspace, research techniques, electronic mail, advertising, home pages and the benefits of being on-line, officials said.
The conference, primarily for small-business owners, will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Community Rooms A and B at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle.
The cost is $15 for preregistration and $20 at the door. Space is limited. Information: (714) 529-4938.
