Bakersfield 55, Ventura 3--The Renegades scored 55 unanswered points in a WSC South game at Bakersfield College.
Bakersfield (8-1, 6-1, 4-0) ranked No. 5 in the state, held Ventura to 117 total yards and 10 first downs.
Nathan Sparks threw three touchdowns as the Renegades held a 41-3 halftime lead. Ventura (1-8, 1-8, 0-4) has dropped 15 consecutive division games.
