In the largest settlement of its kind, Dahlberg Inc., maker of the Miracle Ear Clarifier, agreed to pay a $2.75-million fine to settle allegations that it continued to advertise unsupported claims for hearing aids after being ordered to stop, the Justice Department said. . . . The National Assn. of Securities Dealers Inc. said that Mary Alice Brophy of Dain Bosworth Inc. has been elected as its 1996 chairman, the first woman to head the self-regulatory group.
