Brentwood Beats Flintridge for 8-Man Title

Rico Saken rushed 22 times for 261 yards and three touchdowns to lead Brentwood to a 41-21 victory over Flintridge Prep in the Southern Section Eight-Man Large Division championship game Saturday at Brentwood School.
Saken scored on runs of 65, 55 and 26 yards.
Brentwood running back Scott Fagan had 83 yards and three touchdowns in 18 carries. David Jones had 171 yards in 25 carries.
The Eagles (12-0) won their third title in four seasons without throwing a pass.
Flintridge Prep dropped to 9-2 overall, both losses coming to Brentwood.
Flintridge Prep’s Brian Christian completed 13 of 17 passes for 184 yards, including 64 on a touchdown pass play to tight end Ben Lee. Christian also ran for two scores.
