Ruth N. Creswell, a longtime Ojai resident, died Saturday in an Ojai hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 96.
Creswell was born April 5, 1899, in York, Pa. She moved to Ojai 26 years ago from Van Nuys.
She was a homemaker and artist.
She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Krekorian of Van Nuys and Bonnie Schulze of Ojai; her sons, Frank Creswell Jr. of Cypress and Bud Creswell of Oak View; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Clausen Funeral Home of Ojai. The Rev. Don Moore of Ojai Valley Community Church will officiate.
Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale.
