Budget Deficits Must End, Officials Say: The new budget policy is scheduled to begin next year, the Xinhua News Agency reported, citing two senior officials. “We must basically eradicate the deficits” and “tighten our belts for a few years,” Finance Minister Liu Zhongli was quoted as saying.
