Nash Scores 39 Points to Pace Sonora

LA HABRA — Senior guard Aiyana Nash made seven three-pointers and finished with 39 points as host Sonora beat El Toro, 65-55, Tuesday in a nonleague girls’ basketball game.
Nash started the week averaging a county-best 28.4 points game.
She had 16 points in the first quarter as the Raiders opened a 20-10 lead. She made four three-pointers in the third quarter and scored 16 more points.
Sarah Fister had 12 points and 16 rebounds for Sonora (6-2).
