A documentary film, “The Fire This Time,” which examines the roots of the 1992 Los Angeles riots, will be shown at 5 p.m. today at the Pacific Beverage Co., 51 W. Easy St., in Simi Valley.
Admission is free. The screening is part of an effort by the Simi-Conejo chapter of the National Organization for Women to recognize late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and his work for social justice. King, murdered in Memphis in 1968, would have marked his 67th birthday today.
