Simi Valley Police Chief Randy Adams will discuss law enforcement and schools when he addresses the third annual association meeting of the Simi Valley PTA Council on Feb. 12.
A luncheon is included in the $5.50 cost of the lecture.
“We want to know what he sees for the future of Simi Valley as far as law enforcement is concerned,” said Liz Harding, first vice president of the PTA Council, which oversees 25 parent-teacher groups in Simi Valley.
“We see an increase in violence and, as parents, we’re all concerned about that.”
More than 60 PTA presidents, school principals and administrators are expected to attend the 9:30 a.m. council business meeting and 10 a.m. lecture. The lecture is also open to the public.
Reservations must be made by Feb. 7.
