2 Airlines Add Routes, Flights

Two airlines serving Los Angeles and the West Coast are adding routes or upping the number of flights on existing routes. Some of the changes include:
* Alaska Airlines, which today adds the second of two new nonstop flights between Portland and Spokane. Beginning this month, the airline is also adding flights in five other markets--Seattle-Phoenix, Seattle-Los Angeles (beginning Feb. 16), Seattle-Anchorage, Portland-San Jose and San Francisco-Palm Springs. * Western Pacific Airlines, which is based in Colorado Springs, Colo., is scheduled to expand service to San Jose, Calif., San Antonio, Texas, and Nashville, Tenn., with nonstop daily flights beginning Feb. 1. The flights originate in Colorado Springs. (800) 930-3030.
