Barbie Befriends Keiko: Toy maker Mattel Inc. plans to donate $500,000 to the Free Willy-Keiko Foundation to assist in the rehabilitation of Keiko, the killer whale who starred in the movie “Free Willy” and is now housed at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. The donation comes in connection with Mattel’s new Ocean Magic Barbie, which comes with “a miniature version of Keiko.”
