FREEWAY FORECAST

Road closures and repair work on freeways and surface streets

Santa Ana Freeway (I-5)

* At Alton Parkway: Two southbound lanes will be closed between Alton Parkway and the San Diego Freeway from midnight to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

* At Costa Mesa Freeway: Various southbound lanes will be closed between the Costa Mesa Freeway and Newport Avenue from midnight to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

* At Avery Parkway: One northbound lane will be closed between Avery and Oso parkways from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

* At 1st Street: One southbound lane will be closed between 1st Street and the Costa Mesa Freeway from 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday. The southbound 1st Street on-ramp also will be closed.

* At 4th Street: One southbound lane will be closed between 4th Street and the Costa Mesa Freeway from 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

* At Oso Parkway: One southbound lane will be closed between Oso and Crown Valley parkways from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

* At El Toro Road: The southbound El Toro Road on-ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

* At San Diego Freeway: The northbound connector to the northbound San Diego Freeway will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly Tuesday through Thursday.

San Diego Freeway (I-405)

* At Costa Mesa Freeway: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between the Costa Mesa Freeway and Irvine Center Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through March.

* At Irvine Center Drive: The southbound Irvine Center Drive onramp will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through March. One southbound lane will be closed between Irvine Center Drive and the Santa Ana Freeway from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly Monday through Thursday.

Garden Grove Freeway (22)

* At Costa Mesa Freeway: The eastbound connector to the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway will be closed from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.

Costa Mesa Freeway (55)

* At Santa Ana Freeway: The northbound connector to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

* At Chapman Avenue: Various southbound lanes will be closed between Chapman Avenue and 17th Street from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, and all southbound lanes from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly Wednesday through Friday.

* At 4th Street: All northbound lanes will be closed between 4th Street and the Garden Grove Freeway from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday. All northbound lanes will be closed between 4th and Marbury streets from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly Wednesday through Friday.

Riverside Freeway (91)

* At Costa Mesa Freeway: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between the Costa Mesa Freeway and Green River Drive in Corona from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly through Feb. 15. The westbound connector to the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. nightly through Feb. 29.

Surface Streets

* Coast Highway: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Jasmine Street and Broadway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through March 15. Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Viejo and Chiquita streets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through March 15.

* Alton Parkway: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Harvard and Millikan avenues through March 15.

* Hamilton Avenue: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Bushard and Magnolia streets through March 15.

* Fortune Street: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Gateway and Pacifica streets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through March 15.

* Ford Road: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between MacArthur Boulevard and Newport Coast Drive through March 15.

* University Drive: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Campus Drive and Jamboree Road through March.

* Irvine Center Drive: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Lake Forest Drive and Valencia Avenue through March.

* Lincoln Avenue: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Washington Avenue and 17th Street through March.

* Beach Boulevard: Various lanes will be closed in each direction between Pacific Coast Highway and Ellis Avenue through March.
