. . . Tornado-like winds ripped up a four-block section of Anaheim on Rose Street between Santa Ana and East streets, uprooting trees, smashing in factory doors, shattering windows and tearing off roofs.
Said resident Alex Meza: “It was like a gun going off, bam, bam, bam, and then very strong winds. You never forget that kind of sound.”
