Bank Robber Was Dressed for Success

A man wearing a tweed sports coat, gray tie and dark slacks robbed a Glendale Federal Bank in Ventura on Friday, the FBI said.
The dapper crook entered the S. Mills Road bank about 1:10 p.m., passed a note to a teller demanding money and ran out, possibly fleeing in a white Ford Taurus driven by a women with curly hair, authorities said. The robber, who did not have a weapon, was described as a dark-haired white man, about 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches and 170 pounds.
There were no injuries. It was the 16th bank robbery this year in Ventura County.
