The space shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to blast off today on a 10-day mission from Kennedy Space Center, Fla. While in space, Endeavour’s six-member crew will deploy a huge inflatable antenna and perform a test on Coca-Cola and a study of tiny sea creatures. The Air Force forecast a 90% chance of acceptable weather for liftoff. A space aquarium containing mussel larvae, sea urchin eggs and starfish embryos is part of a U.S.-Canadian experiment to learn more about dwindling fish stocks, and human bone disorders and birth defects.
