In other Division II games:
Long Beach Millikan 3, Irvine 2 (11)--Missy Brigman’s two-run triple in the bottom of the seventh tied the score for Irvine (22-7-1), but Jenny Farles’ RBI single won it.
Rosary 3, Santa Fe Springs St. Paul 0--Julie Luna gave up three hits, and Erin Connors hit a two-run homer in the fourth for Rosary (22-9), which plays La Mirada.
Woodbridge 3, Chino Hills Ayala 1--Nichole Thompson, Laura Shea and Natasha Watley scored on throwing errors for Woodbridge (26-5), which plays La Crescenta Crescenta Valley.
In Division I:
Canyon 7, Trabuco Hills 1--Veronica Lopez (15-7) struck out seven, and Jenny Crary and Kim Snodgrass had two hits apiece for Canyon (21-10), which plays Newbury Park.
Capistrano Valley 1, Kennedy 0--Sabrina Sexton’s squeeze bunt scored Heather McConnell in the second straight upset for Capistrano Valley (13-14), which plays Foothill. Jennifer Sutherland (8-10) won her fifth straight.
Foothill 5, Ventura Buena 0--Amie Barnes had a two-run single and Jamie Clark added a solo homer for top-seeded Foothill (28-2). Marie Gieron (21-2) gave up five hits and struck out five.
Mater Dei 7, El Modena 1--Winning pitcher Marissa Young had two RBIs. No. 2 Mater Dei (27-1) will play Thousand Oaks.
Pacifica 2, Covina Charter Oak 0--Amanda Hallaway’s double in the bottom of the sixth scored Natasha Sisco and Toria Auelua, and Amanda Freed (13-2) got the victory. Pacifica (26-3) plays third-ranked Camarillo.
In Division III:
Brea Olinda 13, Whittier 1--Tiffany Whitton (9-3) pitched a one-hitter as Brea Olinda (20-7) eclipsed the 1992 team (19-7) for the best record in school history. Angela Thompson had three hits and four RBIs. Brea plays Whittier California.
Whittier La Serna 1, Laguna Hills 0--Kim Stryker’s one-hitter matched La Serna’s Jackie DeBoard, who scored on an error. Laguna Hills is 14-12-1, third-seeded La Serna 23-1-1.
In Division V:
Riverside Notre Dame 2, Calvary Chapel 1 (8)--Christy Ring had three hits for top-seeded Calvary Chapel (19-10).
In Division VI:
Boron 23, Capistrano Valley Christian 2 (6, mercy)--The Eagles finished 11-9.
Liberty Christian 2, Riverside Bethel Christian 1 (8)--Natalie Bonillas (two hits, two runs, three stolen bases) scored the winning run on an error. Liberty Christian (13-5) plays Boron.
Temecula Linfield 7, St. Margaret’s 1--Seven errors led to seven unearned runs as St. Margaret’s (15-5) lost to top-seeded Linfield (19-5). Valerie Killeen scored the only run for the Tartans.
