TRONDHEIM, Norway — A Norwegian court Thursday acquitted three members of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang charged with the attempted murder of two bikers from a rival group, the national news agency NTB said.
The defendants, ages 28 to 34, were accused of firing a pistol at a car carrying two members of Bronx, an offshoot of the Texas-based bike gang Bandidos. Nobody was injured in the December shooting.
The attack was one of a number of incidents in a war between rival biker groups that has hit Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark over the past two years.
