WRONG NUMBER

Your mini-review of 1962’s “Hell Is for Heroes” (Special Screenings, June 23) stated that Bob Newhart answered the telephone with the salutation, “Hello, World War II.” Not only did you get the actor wrong but the movie as well. That wonderful reply was made by Mort Sahl in the 1958 movie “In Love and War.”
