Clinton’s Waffling

Your July 11 article reports that Bill Clinton “chides” Bob Dole for changing his stand on the gun bill. One thing for certain, Clinton should be the No. 1 authority on the subject of waffling. Give him a podium and a TV camera and you are watching the king waffler of all time.
You reported L.A. County received more federal cash than 43 states in 1995. Is this a great country or what? How much money do you think will be in the till for Southern California after the election? No doubt about it, California is the key to Clinton’s being on the job until the year 2000. Hail to the chief, but never mine.
