Re “Supervisors Seek to Muffle Leaf Blowers, Lawn Mowers,” July 10.
While visiting friends in the area of Frankfurt, Germany, we learned that no noise-making machines were ever allowed on Sundays--not due to religious reasons, but because it was felt that everyone was entitled to one day a week without noise. Could this be observed in our country?
