Jorge Fuentes, manager of the Cuban baseball team, says one of the major league managers he admires is the Dodgers’ Tom Lasorda.

“I don’t know him personally, but he looks like a very charismatic person,” Fuentes said. “He’s like family with his club. He gets the most out of them. When [Hideo] Nomo won his first game, it was like a little kid hugging his father. He’s a great communicator.”
