Dolls, Bears Featured at Collectibles Show

Thousands of collectible, antique dolls and bears will be displayed for sale at the Costa Mesa Dolls and Bears Show at the Orange County Fairgrounds this month.
The 300-exhibitor show will feature renowned bear artist Carol Black and doll artist Julia Ruger signing autographs and answering collectors’ questions. A collection of rare Barbie dolls and plush animals will be on display.
The Costa Mesa Dolls and Bears Show runs Aug. 17 and 18 at the Orange County Fairgrounds, Building 12. Hours: Aug. 17: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Aug. 18: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adult admission: $5; children younger than 12: $2. Information: (619) 756-3275.
