Navy League Official Receives Citation

Pamela Ammerman of Camarillo was awarded the Meritorious Public Service Citation, which honors service in the Navy League of the United States.
Ammerman was one of 10 Navy Leaguers who received the citation, presented by Secretary of the Navy John Dalton during the organization’s national convention in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Ammerman is the National Public Affairs Committee chairman for the Navy League. Founded in 1902, the Navy League is a 72,000-member civilian educational organization that works to educate citizens on the importance of sea power. Members take part in various activities in support of the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines.
