The Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center of Orange County is seeking volunteers for its Welcome Baby program, which aids first-time parents.
Sponsored in part by a United Way grant, the program trains volunteers to teach baby care techniques, as well as providing parents with a support network.
Those interested in volunteering must attend a six-hour training session and make a three-month commitment to the program, spending up to two hours a week at the family’s home.
The center is at 2482 Newport Blvd., Suite 7, Costa Mesa.
Information: (714) 722-1107.
