No. 8 Long Beach Poly (1-1) vs. Pasadena Muir (2-0).

* At Pasadena City College, Friday, 7 p.m.

* Coaches: Jerry Jaso, Poly, 12th year; Tony Crutchfield and Erik Johnson, second year.

* The matchup: The coaching revolving door continues to swing at Muir. Crutchfield and Johnson took over in the middle of last season, replacing Michael Harrison. Muir has responded by winning its first two games. Junior Sultan McCullough, a member of the school’s state champion track team, has rushed for 314 yards and five touchdowns. Poly, upset by Las Vegas Green Valley in its opener, rebounded by routing Wilmington Banning. Defense will be a key as both teams are loaded with speed.
