Looking for Talent in All the Wrong Places

In response to the recent news of two Golden West College basketball players arrested at practice for armed robbery: They were parolees with prior convictions. Tom Hermstead, athletic director, said, “We were aware of that.” But his concern was for the impact of this on the rest of the team. What about the 13,000 student body and the community? Must talent be sought in prisons?
