International Remote Raises $3 Million in Stock Sale

International Remote Imaging Systems Inc., a Chatsworth maker of medical testing work-stations, said it raised $3 million by selling 3,000 shares of new convertible preferred stock to Thermo Amex, a private investment fund.
The company said it will use the money to repay part of a loan from City National Bank, repurchase shares from Corange Ltd. and for general corporate purposes.
