College District Offers Childbirth Classes

Classes to help expectant parents prepare for childbirth will start today at the Cypress Adult Continuing Education Center at Cypress College.
The sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. over six weeks. Other classes will meet Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 15, and Thursdays, beginning Feb. 6, also from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Childbirth classes that will be completed in one day will be offered on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 25, Feb. 22 and March 15.
The enrollment fee for all classes is $10, charged only for one person, and includes a book. Each expectant mother and person planning to assist the mother are asked to bring two pillows to each class. Registration may be made at the first class meeting.
