Loyola Marymount muscled past San Diego, 73-68, in a West Coast Conference game Saturday night at Gersten Pavilion.
Tim Kennedy and Jim Williamson each had 19 points for Loyola Marymount, 4-10 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
The Lions were called for 24 fouls but harassed the Toreros (8-6, 0-2) enough to neutralize Sean Flannery and Brian Miles.
Miles, averaging 14.1 points, had six points while Flannery had two--11 below his average.
