Buena Vista to Buy Stake in HBO Ole, HBO Brasil

Walt Disney Co.’s Buena Vista International Television unit said it will acquire unspecified interests in HBO Ole and HBO Brasil to gain greater access to the 80 million homes in Latin America with televisions. Buena Vista will license exclusive pay-television rights to the channels for motion pictures from Disney’s Hollywood, Touchstone and Miramax Pictures units.
