A $10,000 Pacific Bell donation will be used to enhance Irvine Valley College’s computer network and to install more desktop workstations, officials said.
The donation was given to the college’s foundation, which has set a $2-million fund-raising goal for the next five years for technology enhancement. Money will be used for hardware and software, network infrastructure and computer training and maintenance, officials said.
