It was a disappointing day for Michael Josephson.
Founder of the Character Counts Coalition, Josephson had come to New Orleans to promote a document he calls the Declaration of Character.
His news conference to promote the document, which advocates integrity in sports by everyone from sponsors to coaches and has been signed by 120 former athletes, drew only two news organizations.
“It was a disaster,” Josephson said.
