Birmingham plays host to Cleveland at 2:30 p.m. today in a Northwest Valley Conference boys’ soccer showdown.

Birmingham (8-0-3, 5-0-3 in conference play) is led by central midfielders Pablo Lastorta and John Ortega. Stopper Joshua Smith and goalkeeper John Wall anchor the defense.

Peyman Karbalai is a standout forward for the Cavaliers (8-1-4, 3-0-4).
