Idaho ended its five-game losing streak with a victory at North Texas on Saturday. Jason Jackman, who averages 17.7 points to lead the Vandals, had 26 points in that victory. Fullerton routed UC Irvine, 89-57, Saturday without leading scorer John Williams (wrist) and Craig Whitehead (strained groin), a starting forward. Whitehead practiced Monday and is expected to play. An X-ray on Williams’ right wrist revealed a broken bone, and he will be sidelined the next four weeks.
