Mother Convicted of Killing Toddler

A suburban housewife who claimed an intruder stabbed her two sons to death before slashing her throat was convicted in Kerrville, Texas, of killing one of the boys. Darlie Routier, 27, could be sentenced to death or life in prison. Routier was on trial for killing her 5-year-old son, Damon. She also is charged with capital murder for killing 6-year-old Devon. That trial has not been scheduled. Prosecutors said Routier killed the boys last June because she was angry over money and weight problems.
