SEASON AT A GLANCE: Wolfson, a midfielder, leads the Lancers (9-8, 4-5 in Marmonte League play) with eight goals. A skilled dribbler with a strong shot, Wolfson is dangerous on free kicks. “He knows his role,” Thousand Oaks Coach Mark Tietjen said. “He knows when to distribute and when to hold on to the ball and create plays that way.”

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Wolfson was instrumental in helping Thousand Oaks upset two Marmonte League foes. Against Camarillo, he converted a penalty kick for the deciding goal of a 2-1 victory. Against Simi Valley, he scored from the field and again converted a penalty shot for the winning margin in a 2-1 triumph.
