InVitro International: The Irvine manufacturer of safety testing products and services said it lost $506,000, or 4 cents a share, for the first quarter, compared to a net loss of $522,000, or 4 cents a share, for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was up 15% to $259,000 from $225,000.
