SEASON AT A GLANCE: A natural forward, Thomsen shifted to midfield this season and has scored 13 goals for the Knights (11-6-1, 7-3 in Mission League play). Although his instincts to challenge a defender one-on-one have been muted for the team’s good, Thomsen has adapted nicely. “Patrick’s a lad who works tirelessly,” Notre Dame Coach Colm McFeely said. “But this season he’s realized he’s got to supply the ball to others first.”

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Thomsen scored in a 1-0 victory over St. Francis last Wednesday. Last Friday, he scored twice in a 2-1 overtime victory over Crespi, atoning for a hand ball that led to the Celts’ goal.
