Kevin Serr had three hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs to lead Mission College over Antelope Valley, 17-5, in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday at El Cariso Park in Sylmar.
Eli Albertson and Albert Palma also had three hits each for the Free Spirit (4-2), which had 17 hits and led, 13-3, after six innings.
Jose Sandoval doubled, tripled and drove in three runs for Mission.
Antelope Valley dropped to 1-10.
Fullerton 8, Moorpark 6--Andy Husienga had three hits and drove in a run, and the Raiders (4-6) made things interesting by outscoring Fullerton, 5-0, in the final three innings of a nonconference game at Moorpark.
Cal Poly Pomona 8, The Master’s 0--The Mustangs (1-7) were held to five hits and committed six errors at Master’s.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
La Verne 72, Cal Lutheran 54--Center Katie Minor had 24 points and 15 rebounds for the Leopards in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at La Verne.
