WHO TO WATCH: Christen Roper had a big game for Nordhoff in a semifinal victory over San Dimas, but the Rangers are usually led by Nell Becker and Erin Barker, both juniors. Bishop Montgomery has USC-bound Tashara Carter, who averages 13 points and 11 rebounds.
FAST FACT: Nordhoff was overwhelmed by Morningside in the final last year, 63-28. Bishop Montgomery is going for consecutive banners, having routed Muir, 62-34, in the Division III-AA final last year.
DIVISION III-AA
WHO: Alemany (23-4) vs. Muir (21-7)
WHEN: Today at 2:45
WHO TO WATCH: Alemany has Kelli Kobayashi, who is averaging 16 points a game, Kate Beckler (12.8) and Dana Rios (10.8). Muir’s top players are Farrah Wheeler and Tiana Sanders, both seniors.
FAST FACT: This division has gone to form. Muir, the Pacific League runner-up, was seeded No. 1, followed by Alemany, champion of the Mission League.
DIVISION I-AA
WHO: Oxnard (16-11) vs. Lynwood (20-10)
WHEN: Tonight at 8:30
WHO TO WATCH: Oxnard’s Jaline Bradley, a sophomore, is averaging 24.5 points in the playoffs. Lynwood’s top player is junior guard Lenora Truss.
FAST FACT: Oxnard, which finished fourth in the Channel League, has won four in a row since losing to Ventura by 22 points in its regular-season finale. Lynwood finished third in the San Gabriel Valley League.
