Christopher Staff was named president and chief operating officer of Authentic Fitness Corp., a Van Nuys swimwear maker. Previously, Staff was an executive at the company’s Speedo division.
Also, Wallis Brooks was named senior vice president and chief financial officer, and James Robbins was named president of the retail stores divisions.
* Bahman Naraghi was named to the new position of senior vice president of planning and operations for Universal Pictures, Universal City.
Naraghi has been Universal’s senior director of corporate development and was a media executive at Credit Lyonnais.
* 20th Century Industries has named Michael T. Farrell chief information officer.
Farrell will be in charge of software and hardware purchases for the company.
Farrell most recently was vice president of information services for National Computer Systems in Minneapolis, Minn.
20th Century is an automobile insurer based in Woodland Hills.
